Lucifer was in his mansion, in the middle of nowhere somewhere in California. It used to be Crowley’s, the Devil was very well aware of that. In fact, he had even kicked the demon out of the place himself. As far he knew, he was alone now, much to his amusement. Lucifer never really liked the presence of others, unless it was this certain dark haired Second Generation Angel. Which was probably why he had covered the walls around his mansion with various angel-banishing sigils and devil’s traps, but had decided not to put up any sigils that would keep second generation angels out. 

With a history book in his hands, he sat on the couch, trying to catch up with what he’s missed on Earth while he had been in his Cage in Hell, where his Father had locked him up a long time ago. But, that was when he felt a presence, a familiar one, the only one that would cause a smile to show up on his vessel’s face. But, the Devil didn’t look up. If she’d want his attention, she’d have to go to him instead of the other way around.

God created four Archangels—Michael, Lucifer, Raphael and Gabriel. The four formed a strong bond as brothers. After the creation of mankind, Lucifer began to argue with his brothers and with God over these new, imperfect beings, humans. According to Lucifer, God commanded his Angels to venerate Men, but Lucifer refused, and was cast out of Heaven, mostly because he simply loved God too much. A while later, Lucifer decided to take a human soul and create it into his first Demon. He was then confined against his will in a Cage by God. The Cage could only open if sixty-six of the six hundred seals on the Cage broke. During his confinement, demons multiplied, and some worshiped him as their creator. 

Although Lucifer may seem deranged, he does claim that he never lies and shows concern for the other angels. He has had his past with Logan and has once  invited Logan, a fellow angel to join him but he refused only for Lucifer to respect his decision. Lucifer is extremely strong and comes across as a threat to a lot of the supernaturals. After being around for this many years he borders the line of madness but still manages to take control over people and situations in an instant. Some of his powers include: Freezing objects, manipulating the weather, teleportation, remaining unaffected by time, pyrokinesis, telepathy, telekinesis and so on. Although he may seem to not have any flaws; he does. Lucifer does have a few physical weaknesses, an archangel blade can kill him and so can Mikhael. He can be kept inside a circle of holy oil.

Lucifer now uses the body he is meant to have as a vessel, and it’s no one other than Dean’s dead best friend, Jared Lynton. His official vessel will survive the possession longer, and is able to hold Lucifer in for much longer than any other regular person.
